Useful Information:
Flight and durability of shuttlecock is high depend on weather, temperature and humidity at courts..below are the quick info for shuttlecock selction:
Speed / Temperature : 76 / (28 - 37) , 77 / (18-27) & 78/ (5-17)
Weight (g) / Speed : 4.9 /76, 5.0/77 & 5.1 /78
To upkeep shuttlecock; we recommend 2 methods;
1. Open the tube from the top ( where you put in shuttlecock); close teh club on the other end. Get ready a hot water flask filled with boiled water, place the tube on the open end on top of the flask...leave it for 1 to 2 minutes..then close the tube cap tightly, both side, for at least 8 to 10 hours before playing.
2. if you do not have flask, use a bowl of hot water, dip and soak the shuttlecock one by one, ONLY the fetaher part , DO NOT SOAK THE CORK/HEAD, for 3 to 5 seconds, put all the shuttlecock back to tube. ..then close the tube cap tightly, both side, for at least 8 to 10 hours before playing.
Repeat the procedure if the shuttlecock is not used for for more then a week.
