What is PLA?

Polylactic acid or polylactide (PLA) is a biodegradable, thermoplastic, aliphatic polyester derived from renewable resources such as corn starch or sugarcanes. Although PLA has been known for more than a century, Mother's Corn products are the only PLA tableware available for babies and kids, which have superb quality and excellent durability.

1. BPA Free

As the Mother's Corn products are made of corn, they are free from environmental hormone and other hazardous ingredients like carcinogenic substance, heavy metals and etc. They are absolutely safe for serving hot food and beverage so you don't have to worry when your child bite or suck (gum down) our Mother's Corn tableware.

2. Non - Toxic Ink

Since we use non - toxic ink for printing character design on all Mother's Corn products, it is harmless for babies & kids when they lick or suck (gum down) on the printed area. GREEN

1. Less CO²

The ingredients of Mother's Corn tableware are from the nature, therefore there is no CO² emission while those ingredients being produced. On the contrary, they absorb CO² and do not cause ecological damage like for instance, the petrochemical detriment to the global environment

2. 100% Biodegradable

When Mother's Corn products reach the end of life or you want to discard it, it can be buried and they are 100% biodegradable by microorganism in soil and it will returned to soil. The speed at which they are biodegradable varies depending on the type of containers and soil conditions like density of microorganism, etc.

Mother's Corn products though they are made of corn ingredients, have excellent durability similar like regular plastic made from petrochemicals. Our Mother's Corn tableware are as strong as regular plastic containers.
