GEORGE TOWN 2 Mei - Kemudahan Internet tanpa wayar (Wifi) yang disediakan kerajaan negeri Pulau Pinang di bawah kepimpinan DAP adalah satu penipuan dan pembaziran kerana ia tidak dapat digunakan sepenuhnya dan dipasang di kawasan yang tidak strategik, kata Ketua Pemuda parti Gerakan Oh Tong Keong.
Beliau berkata, pemantauan oleh sayap parti itu di beberapa lokasi mendapati kemudahan yang disediakan itu langsung tidak boleh digunakan.
"Ketua Menteri (Lim Guan Eng) mengumumkan talian itu dapat digunakan biarpun dalam lingkungan 100 meter, tetapi (kini) dalam lingkungan 20 meter pun ia tidak dapat digunakan, kebanyakan tempat tumpuan orang ramai dan perumahan yang dikatakan mempunyai kemudahan Wifi juga tidak dapat digunakan, ini merugikan semua,” katanya dalam persidangan media di sini hari ini. - Bernama
