1. How do I login?

   Type your Username and Password , select the language and click 'Login'.
   For Example: If you Email address is username@lelong.net.my, you would type username@lelong.net.my for your username and followed by your password.

2. How do I access my POP3 server.

   In order to use an email client to send and receive Lelong Mail message, you must designate a new incoming (POP) mail server and a new outgoing (SMTP) mail server.
   Here are the basic server settings for Lelong Mail.
   
   

   Incoming Mail (POP3) Server :	pop.lelong.net.my
   Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server :	smtp.lelong.net.my
   Login Name :	user@lelong.net.my
   Password :	your_password_here

3. What is a POP3 account?

   POP3 stands for Post Office Protocol. A protocol used to retrieve e-mail from a mail server. POP3 is a client/server protocol in which e-mail is received and held for you by your provider. Periodically, you (or your client e-mail receiver) checks your mail-box on the server and downloads any mail. POP3 mail can be retrieved by most popular e-mail products, such as TheBat!, Outlook, Outlook Express, Communicator, Eudora and many more.

4. Why pay for POP3 email when others offer this service for free?

   Simple answer, If the provider is giving away their mailboxes for free, they are making money out of it. Most likely, they will engage in advertising!. They'll advertise within your email, or they might resell your private information collected from you. We (Lelong) provide private email services. You pay us a small fee each year which allows us to keep our facilities running thus providing you with exceptional service. Lelong does not allow spammers to use our service, nor will we ever resell your email address or private information to any third party.

5. Does the Lelong Email work with PDA's?

   Yes! Using the standard POP3/SMTP protocols, the system works well with PDA's.

6. How big of a mailbox do I need?

   This depends on how many email you receive, whether or not you receive many file attachments and whether you will leaving your email on our server, or downloading it to your PC. If you plan on using web-access, you typically need more space unless you delete older email messages on a frequent basis. When using a POP3 client and when downloading your email to your PC, then the question of mailbox size boils down to file attachments. If you plan to receive many large file attachments, you may need a larger mailbox to hold these until the next time you download.

7. Will I still get junk email with my Lelong Email account?

   Junk email is a fact of life. The more you submit your email to various websites, the more likely it is that you will receive junk email. As this is becoming more rampant, we've put in place virus protection and spam filtering. With virus protection, all incoming messages are scanned and quarantines all that virus ridden e-mail. As of spam filtering, all messages are checked against strict anti-spam rule base which will help to identify spam. All spam emails are tagged as {SPAM} for easy disposal.

8. Can I foward my emails to my other email?

   No, The feature is not available yet

9. What happens to the POP3 messages when I log out?

   POP3 messages that you read using the webmail are not deleted from the server when you log out. If you delete a POP3 message,it is deleted from the server.

10. Can I cancel the account after the subscription.?

    Your subscription is on one year basis, we do not provide refund for cancellation. However, you can transfer the account to your friend; if you wish.

11. Why my email account suspended ?

    If we receive any complaints from local or international governing body with regards to spam, your account will be temporarily suspended for further investigation. As such, your assistance is required to smoothen the investigation.
