
An old Thai amulet featuring Buddha seated with half-lotus position (the right leg rests squarely atop the left) and Mara Subduing gesture (left hand touch the ground while right hand rest on top of rested leg), left hand touch the ground known as 'Earth-touching gesture' having a meaning of Buddha calling upon the Earth to witness and defeating Mara (bad things) from disturbing or hurting us, by touching the ground can neutralize the bad things thus allowing good things only approaching us

Comment : well preserves, no cracks or chip off, the Buddha face was clear and having a beautiful smiling face. The most interesting part of this amulet is that a monk's colourful string was stuck on top and bottom of the powder while at the back of the powder was monk's written prayer wisdom in folded papers (notice that the paper is not normal modern paper and quite old already) which magnify the power of this amulet.
