Ainol Novo 7 Aurora - Review
Those who were broken hearted about the Ainol Novo 7 Advanced going out of production, need not feel lost anymore, for a new leaner and meaner machine has started to roll out it’s a wonder anyone can keep up with how fast this industry is changing. You buy what you think is a decent tablet and then 2 weeks later another tablet comes out to replace it at the same price with specs that leave your 2 week old tablet feeling like a bewildered dinosaur.
The new Novo Aurora tablet that is set to either make you cry or jump for joy has been officially launched, BUT!! and a big but! you won’t be getting your hands on it until those folks in the red country finish their Chinese new year celebrations. We will start shipping again on the 7th-9th February .
Some might get confused by the specs as they look almost identical to the Ainol Novo 7 Elf - there is one big difference between these two heavyweights and it’s the reason for the Novo 7 Aurora’s higher price tag...the Aurora boasts a vibrant, crisp and shiny IPS 5 point multitouch screen and is the first 7 inch tablet in the world to suppport multi-touch with an IPS display. Both tablets run Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and each have a 1.5ghz Allwinner Many-Core processor (firmware running on 1.0GHz) with 1GB DDR3 Ram.
Some are asking if it has bluetooth, YES it does but only the ‘Bluetooth Share’ feature, which should be adequate enough for most, if not - this tablet isn’t for you. Also, another big question is the Android Market - is it supported out of the box? the answer is a definite, NO. However,our software team found a solution right now! - with the Android Market fixed, the Ainol Novo 7 Aurora will be close to taking the crown for 7 inch tablets coming out soon..
