| Introducing the Sentry 2, a full system fan controller with an advanced touch screen interface. Sentry 2 easily installs in a 5.25: bay and is compatible with any fan that uses voltage control. The innovative touch screen features ultra fast selection and response time and displays all pertinent info including temperature readout in both Celsius and Fahrenheit. Sentry 2 allows users to control up to 5 fans with the option for manually tuning individual fan speeds or letting the automatic controls take over to correspond to a specific temperature. The controller's advanced functionality sounds an alarm to alert the user should the temperature exceed a preset amount and stores saved settings even after it is turned off. Designed to maximize efficiency, the Sentry 2 supports 10W per channel and creates less heat than traditional temperature displays. |

| “I tested the NZXT Sentry 2 with a load of five fans. Three were 120mm NZXT and the other two were power hungry 120mm apevias. At a full load the Sentry 2 never stumbled. After 4 weeks of using the Sentry 2 I am happy to report that there has not been a single issue. The build quality of this fan controller is above that of every other fan controller on the market that I have had my hands on. The bezel is plastic but is not flimsy what so ever and the screen is viewable at all but the most extreme of angles. Since I have yet to find a single flaw in the Sentry 2 I am giving it a TBCS Recommended rating of 5/5.” |

This fan controller is great for a minimalist feel on any case, with the lack of any visible buttons. The ease of installation and setup with automatic and manual fan settings allows for minimum downtime. The two minor drawbacks to this fan controller are the lack of RPM display and the plastic construction. However, this minor drawback should not overshadow what this fan controller can do for you. NZXT does it again and makes another fan controller I can easily recommend.” |

If you have a hi-performance gaming machine with several case fans, YOU MUST GET THIS PRODUCT! I highly recommend it to everyone who wants to take direct control of your case temperature issues. Also, I would encourage you to install extra fans if you are having temperature issues and make sure to add this product to manage those fan additions. I like that NZXT thought to include 4-pin MOLEX connections for the fans as well, but I wish they had made them modular somehow to help combat cable clutter. It’s also nice that you can turn the display off, should you be sleeping in the same room and want to keep your computer on. | The NZXT Sentry 2 5.25″ Touch Screen Fan Controller is one of the nicest fan controllers I’ve had the chance to review. It’s small in size and very easy to install and use. If you’re limited to space as I am with my case, then you’ll very much appreciate the single 5.25″ bay design of this product. Before the NZXT Sentry 2 arrived for review I was controlling my fans with in-line resistors, this works, but doesn’t give you any real control, now I’ve got control of my fans and I can monitor temperatures as well. I can easily recommend the Sentry 2 as a must-have accessory for your PC. |
