Up for sale is a very famous British turntable / tonearm combo that need no introduction. It comes with a quality Goldring G820 cartridge with stylus D130 record player needle. It is a 220v-240v model. Its an excellent choice for someone who is looking for an entry level 'High End' turntable. The turntable is in good working condition. . Picture below :- And also a Brand New drive belt (rubber belting costing RM80.00) was fitted. A new belt can last for around 3-5 years. .        . . . . . . . . . . . . .                 . The Rega company was established in 1973 with the release of the Planet turntable, an unusual design that featured 3 outriggers to support the record instead of a traditional platter. In 1975 this was replaced by the classic Planar 2 turntable which made Rega's name famous worldwide — with its blend of good performance and low retail price. The Planar 3 with heavier plinth and thicker glass platter followed in 1977. .  Rega's early turntables originally came fitted with Acos built tonearms, but in 1983 the first RB (Rega Britain) arm appeared in the shape of the critically acclaimed RB300 and it soon became one of the best selling tonearms in the world. The RB300 is the first tonearm to be manufactured at the Rega factory. The arm features a beautifully cast one piece arm tube and headshell, closely tolerances bearings, rigid bearing housings and magnetic frictionless bias compensation. .   The interesting part is that many audiophiles feel that the RB300 tonearm (which is out of production now and being replaced by RB301) is the better arm till today and as a result many are still looking for it. . .       Rega RB300 uses the highest quality bearings available (usually found in ships navigational equipment) both bearings vertical and horizontal are hand selected to find a perfect match with each spindle. It uses the classic Rega die-cast arm tube with the threaded base, a high performance low capacitance arm lead and plugs complete this amazing product which all combine to offer unrivaled performance for the money. . .         .   . . . . . . . The Super Elys cartridge offers outstanding sound quality with the dynamics and separation between various musical instruments and value for money.  The overall design makes it a perfect match for all Rega Turntables.  A wonderfully stable sound, especially when used with a Rega tonearm.  What more when you only have to pay RM500 for an item costing RM1,300.00 i.e. A savings of RM800.00
