The design reflects the long experience of the Sphinx design team with specially selected power FETs. This  SPHINX Project Twelve monoblock power amplifiers were puchased new 4-years ago in Singapore for SG$8,000.00 or equivalent to RM18,000.00 (at exchange rate of 2.25 at that time), and Customs Import Tax of around RM4,000.00 was paid at the Johor Bahru Customs checkpoint.  Therefore the total cost of this beauty was RM22,000.00.  Grab yourself a bargain now for this world class monoblock power amp at less than 1/2 of its landed cost when new.

Condition:  Excellent/perfect working condition since new.

Review 1 of 1 Summary: These amps are the works! I`ve heard amps that are just as nice and detailled in sound...but they had one sorry... TWO..Big problems compared to the Sphinx Project12 monoblocks.. First thing: They were much more expensive. Second:They were very big and bulky compared to the Sphinx. The sound of these amps are amazing... I use them to drive one of the [audio]worlds most difficult speaker ever created.. The ampkillers Infinity kappa 9 [0,8ohm@33hz]. I`ve seen amps go into clipping that are priced [16000Euros] with these speakers. The Sphinx Project12 are small, very small compared to other amps with the same power output.. They can control even the most difficult speaker around without even breaking a sweat. I currently using the yamaha mx-830 stereo poweramp on the lows[BI-AMPED]..the Project12 on the mid/high//everything sings now! No matter what the people say about yamaha...screw them...ik know how it sounds...PERFECT! Strengths: Clarity,power, most important CONTROL! They can drive every speaker around the globe without breaking up in clipping! [okay maybe the nautilus:-] Weaknesses: None...not even one. They are easy to move, not heavy at all! And the power is super!
