A false edge along with the blade spine increases the piercing ability of the knife and reduces the weight of the blade. A rugged G10 handle with finger grips ensure a comfortable and strong grip. The thumb stud enables one-handed opening and the blade is locked securely by the liner lock. A removable pocket clip and lanyard hole is ideal for keeping such a good knife securely attached to your body or luggage.

How to maintain your Tekut knife: Even though Tekut blades are made with corrosion-resistant stainless steel, however there is a possibility of corrosion/rust occuring in fact this applies to majority of the stainless steel hardwares. The chances of corrosion/rust is insignificant compare to normal metal however prolonged exposure to corrosive elements can cause the steel's surface to oxidize. Folding knives is strongly advised to be kept clean, particularly the locking device on lock-blade knives, proper caring will ensure optimum performance. After every usage do wash and clean your knife/blade and apply lubricant such as Acetone, alcohol or paint thinner onto the bl. Avoid contact with detergents that contain Chlorine (mostly powders, including some for washing dishes and clothes), which can cause corrosion to the blade. Avoid prolonged immersion in liquids (water, solvents, etc.) this causes a detrimental effect on the metal parts. If any rust appears on the blade, try to clean and remove any oxidize surface as much as possible and always remember to apply lubricant after every usage.
