Pros:

A great flash to use as a backup, or as a secondary (or more!) flash when being a strobist! Very easy to use, I love the built-in slave function. With the included stand, just put it where you want and start experimenting! 

Cons:

Takes a few seconds to charge when flash is set to full, so don't use it when speed is an important issue. 

Other Thoughts:

The construction is actually a lot better then I had expected. Full swivel and tilt options, just be carefull with the batterydoor, but should be know problem (always have to be carefull with them, also for the A-brands) 

Bottomline:

When trying out to become a strobist, this should be in your photobag, preferably a few of them!

Pros:

Shortly after receiving this flash I went and bought a second one. It's really cheap, uses safe voltage levels, is great for portraits. Recycle time is fast in any level except full-power. 

Cons:

The slave modes aren't very reliable. Use a radio transmitter/receiver. 
No zooming, plastic scratches easily. But that's just nitpicking, it's a great product. 

Other Thoughts:

Dunno how this compares to a Canon flash, I've never used those fancy flashes that cost 30x as much as this one. 

Bottomline:

If you need to light your photos, buy this.

YongNuo 460 for Sony 1 is RM220, if you want cheaper 1, please take YongNuo 462 for sony = RM175. Thanks.
