This is what we source for the latest Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+. 5VDC output at 3.0A maximum. Beside USB microB termination, it also come with a push ON and push OFF button in the middle of the cable, perfect for AC socket behind your cupboard. This is the perfect power adapter for powering single-board computers like Raspberry Pi, BeagleBone or anything else that's power hungry!
This adapter was specifically designed to provide 5.35V not 5V, but we still call it a 5V USB adapter. We believe the supplier did this on purpose to solve a problem that occurs often with USB-powered gadgets: they draw so much current that the resistance of the cable causes a voltage drop, so instead of 5V, the device sees 4.75V or so when the current is high. To avoid this problem, the adapter will output 5.35V! This way, even at a full 3.0 Amp draw, the voltage at the end wont be lower than about 4.9V, which is still good for Raspberry pi and other USB powered devices.
This high quality power adapter can use 110 or 240 VAC input so it works in any country, but the adapter is UK type.
Input: 100V~240V , 50~60Hz
