    The UOA Group is a highly successful developer that was established in 1987 when they registered on the Australian Stock Exchange (ASX) as the United Overseas Australia Ltd. They then based their headquarters in Kuala Lumpur in 1989 and finally managed to register UOA Development in BURSA Malaysia in 2011 which placed them as the largest listed property development companies by market capitalisation in Malaysia. In 2012 they had an estimated Gross Development Value of RM5 billion which continues to grow.

    Camellia is going to be added into their portfolio of successful developments alongside its neighbours Acacia and Begonia.
    The Camellia is a good place for investment as prices of properties in Bangsar South have been climbing year-on-year steadily as the development proceeds. What was once a squatter area is gradually being developed and a few attempts at malls have been built as well for the residents where they can enjoy a cuppa at the posh Old Town White Coffee or shop at the open air mall a few metres away. As a permanent residence this area has its appeal as well for its proximity to everything in town.
