When cycling, the power of the legs is converted into propulsion via the feet with every pedal revolution. The ergonomically correct position of the feet on the pedals plays a decisive role. The ball of the foot must be positioned exactly over the pedal axle, and the pedal-knee-hip joint axis (when viewed from the front or rear) should form a line.
