5) Do the nipples have different flow rates? Yes. There are 2 convenient flow rates: 0-12 months and 1 Year +. These nipples can be bought separately as well.

7) Are the nipples interchangeable between the two bottle sizes? Yes, all nipples can be used on either bottle size.

9) How should the bottles be cleaned? The bottle, cap, base and nipple are top rack dishwasher safe with mild detergent. The bottle, cap, base and nipple can be sterilized in boiling water for 5 minutes. Only the nipple can be sterilized in the microwave in a microwave sterilization bag following their instructions.

10) Can I use the microwave to sterilize mimijumi? Only the nipple can be sterilized in the microwave in a microwave sterilization bags (not included) and carefully follow their instructions. The bottle portion is NOT microwave safe.

11) How do I snap the cap in place?

STEP 1: Place the lid on top of the nipple. Any angle is fine.
STEP 2: Press down on the back side (furthest from you) of the cap and it will click in.
STEP 3: Now press down a little firmer on the front of the cap (closest to your chest) and it will click down again. The ‘click’ noise on step 3 is usually not as prominent as the ‘click’ noise in step 2.
STEP 4: Turn your bottle upside down and shake. The cap should be firmly in place.

12) How long can the bottle last when used constantly?
Until the baby grow. Unlike normal bottles where you have to dispose after 6-8 months, mimijumi is not made of PES, PP or PA plastics and hence does not contain any toxic/plastic leakage after constant use.

19) How do I clean the nipple? Top rack dishwasher safe or mild detergent. Sterilize before first use by boiling.

20) Can I put into the baby bottle and nipples in the warmer? All bottle warmers work well with the mimijumi at any heat.

21) How do I close the cap properly? Place the cap over the nipple, slide intil it clicks or catches and push the other side down to snap it on.

22) If the bottle helps transition babies from breast feeding to bottle, has it been proven to work the other way round or interchange if the mother decides to continue breast feeding ? Yes it is perfect for going between the bottle and the breast. Occasional once daily bottle feeding by a breastfeeding mother is the most poopular use for mimijumi.

23) What is the difference between the standard nipple that comes with the bottle with your replacement nipple flow 2 sold here? The standard nipple that comes with the bottle has the slowest flow rate. Once your baby grows bigger, they get hungrier and can take in more milk and that’s when you require a faster flow.
