Light, uncompromising protection
uvex jakkyl is pure enduro. “The laminated fiberglass chinguard fixes onto the helmet in two hand movements. This simple mechanism doesn’t need any tools,“ explains Johannes Schache, uvex sports product manager. A real lightweight, this double inmould helmet with second polycarbonate shell weighs just 630 grams. Thanks to the 360° BOA System it sits firmly and won’t slip, even on the roughest sections. Inspired by uvex’s EDAero aero road helmet, 14 inner air channels ensure best ventilation. A built-in goggle mount allows the uvex jakkyl hde to be used as a half shell or full-face with goggle. The adjustable visor slides under when not in use. Developed in collaboration with Michal Prokop (CZ), three-time UCI 4cross World Champion and enduro rider, uvex jakkyl hde is a true enduro machine.
