Volumetric Flask also known as measuring flask. It is a pear-shaped long neck flat bottom glass flask which used for precise dilutions and preparation of standard solutions. The flask mouth are normally furnished with a plasitc or glass snap cap. For measure volume, volumetric flask are much more accurate and precise than measuring cylinder. Class A volumetric flask are made with a more accurately placed graduated mark, and have a unique serial number for tracebility.
